There are a number of basic ways to make contact with Russian women. The ideal way is for you to travel to Russia and spend some time there. There are intensive schools where you live in Russia and learn the language, the people, the culture, and the country.
There are some websites that specialize in intensive Russian language schools located in Russia. I cannot make any specific recommendations, as I have had no experience with any of them, nor have I any feedback from anyone who has used them.
If you have six months or more of your time and have the desire to spend that amount of time in Russia, this situation may be ideal for you. Please let me know about your experience if you decide to go this route.
At a live-in intensive language school located in Russia, you will meet Russian women in the course of your daily life. You will meet them under natural circumstances and have time to get to know them. This is the most ideal situation for meeting and wooing the woman of your dreams.
However, most Western men don't have the luxury or the desire to spend six months or more living in Russia. Most have financial, career, and family obligations that restrict the amount of time they can spend there.
For them, they need an expedited way to meet that special woman. Perhaps they have two weeks to spend traveling around Russia. What is the best way for a man in such circumstances to meet a Russian Woman?
The Russian Emigrant’s Club
Your fiancé will meet other Russian women who are coming to America under fiancé visas. She will meet them at her English classes in her native country before she leaves.
She will be introduced to other women at the marriage agency that are coming to America.
She will meet them through relatives or acquaintances, who introduce them to other women coming to America that they have heard about through the grapevine.
She will meet women at the embassy when she goes to take her medical exam and her interview.
When she comes to America, your fiancé will probably enroll in English classes at the local adult school. If there are any other Russian-speaking women there, they will become fast friends.
How the Club Forms:
You will get calls from American men you don't know, who have heard through friends of friends that you have a Russian fiancé or wife, and they are in the process of looking or bringing over a fiancé from Russia. When their fiancés arrive in America, they will frequently become intimate with your fiancé.
Friends of yours, hearing that you have a Russian fiancé, will give your phone number to other Russian people that they have met.
Your fiancé will go to public places where she may overhear Russian being spoken. While she would never do this in her country, she may speak up and say hello to them because they share a common language in a strange land.
This eclectic group becomes an informal Emigrant's Club. Your fiancé will grab onto these strangers like a drowning sailor to a floating life buoy. This Emigrant's Club will be one of her survival tools.
She will talk to them to hear the comfort of Russian words being spoken. While everything around her seems strange to her, she will have things explained to her in a way that she understands.

I encourage you to help her develop her Emigrant's Club, as this will make it easier for her adjust to her new life and will reduce the Culture Shock she is experiencing.
Even though you are patient and explain everything to her in the best way you can, she will trust and understand the members of her Emigrant's Club in a way you will not understand.
They are explaining America to her through Russian eyes much as I am trying to explain Russia and Russian women to you through American eyes.
Helping her get through these rough spots will be the positive side of the Emigrant's Club. However, there are negative sides as well.
She will compare you and your actions, assets, income, job, and life style with her Russian friends and their husbands. These Russian women exchange experiences with each other in details that might embarrass you.
If you are miserly, they will know. If you make less money than her friend's husbands, they will know. If you come up a little short in the marriage bed, they will know.
The intimate details of your life will be paraded through conversations traveling through the grapevine at mach speed. If you are lacking, it will become readily apparent to your fiancé in a very short period of time.

Reasons Russian Women Seek Western Men
Russian women like Russian men. If they could, they would prefer to marry a Russian man. Of course, a Russian woman is looking for a good husband, and many Russian men often do not make good husbands.
Russian society is very chauvinistic. Women usually do the housework and take care of the children. Because of economics, they usually have a job as well.
From a cultural standpoint, drinking is socially acceptable and many Russian men drink to excess, which can also affect their health. Many Russian men are like the old cartoon character of Andy Capp.
Some are lazy, alcoholic bums who let their wives do all the housework, plus bring home a paycheck, while they go out with their friends and drink and chase women. If their wives object, they give them a swat, and if they object too much, they leave.
Because of all the single and available women, Russian men are spoiled. Many women feel lucky to have a husband even if he is like the type just described.
After the age of thirty-five, it is virtually impossible for a Russian woman to find a husband. If they are divorced and have children, the same situation applies.
Many Russian women believe that Westerners make better husbands. Right or wrong, they believe that Westerners are more liberated than Russian men and will pitch in with more of the household tasks.
Many Russian women are attracted to American men because they are better groomed and wear cleaner clothes than Russian men. American men are more polite and genteel than Russian men. Many Russians appear impolite to Americans.
They don't say please or thank you very often. The older generation of Russians has table manners that Americans are not used to. During the Communist years, manners were considered bourgeois and they fell out of favor.
Because of the death of so many men in the Stalinist purges and World War II, many Russian men were raised without a father. Many of them do not know how to function as a father and are minimally involved with raising their children.
Many Russian women believe that they will have more economic opportunity for themselves and for their children in Western countries than in Russia.
All the women in the world are looking for economic security. Why should Russian women be any different?
America is a nation of immigrants. Virtually all of the people who have immigrated to America were looking for a better life. They operated out of what Adam Smith called 'enlightened self-interest.' Russian women are no different.
This has been the reality of immigration to America from the very beginning. The Spanish traveled to the New World to find 'the fountain of youth.' The English followed them to the New World to find the 'streets paved with gold.'
The Irish left the Potato Famine behind for the chance of a new opportunity in America only to experience the Coffin Ships, cholera outbreaks, and signs stating 'Irish need not apply.'
Prejudice against immigrants, including Russian women, is nothing new. They just happen to be the newest group of immigrants that are viewed with prejudice.
